Woke this morning to the sound of clouds rushing by my head… There was a scent of cedar that lined my bed. The room was as foreign as my mood and as far removed from everything I thought I recently understood. There was a pain in my lower half that exceeded the pain I was suffering in my lower back. It was the pain of knowing that this peaceful rest would soon end…
On the road again where I can always find solace in motion. I sleep with the wheels as my lullaby, at peace with all that surrounds me. But I will dream of that quiet room under my friend’s roof of in the countryside.

The sun is shining and so are you. I will start a new tradition today and post notes from the congregation and the litany of wayward souls, soothe sayers and comrades who send me their morsels of truth. And the words of our first disciple are…
Dear sir, rumour has it that the notorious reverend shine will teach the gospel to all the sinners and seekers tonight. Since you are known to handel all his earthly business affairs, I would humbly ask when the service is about to begin. sadly enough I find myself unable to attend but will send a delegation of devoted followers who seek to be enlightend by his words and teachings.

I have time to kill…
Now that we are back on the road I have time to kill. Of course I will keep up with my duties as class clown and ringleader of our multi-dimentional flea circus… But while I have your attention I thought I would catch you up on all things Shinny… Well if your a fan you know we have been on the road allot this year. Mostly in the grand wilderness of Germany. I have many thoughts on the sites we have seen and the people we have encountered and I will feed them to you in small doses… Here are a few photos and thoughts after our “LOVELITE FESTIVAL” gig on 11.08.12 you can watch some of the footage from that show here.
It is the nature of a thing that its nature never changes… She is so wild and I can not tame her nor would I want to break her.

Berlin is fast becoming my second home and I think I might be one of those loud Americans that you always hear about. I’ve made some wonderful acquaintances during our last few visits and have created just enough of an impression to merit skepticism from it’s grizzled inhabitants… It’s New York all over again. They say no matter where you go… There you are! As far as I run those demons just keep on coming… But I laugh and grin for what is a monument of indiscretion between friends… I am as you see me week and insecure, I dance on the stage, bewitched by the lore of fame, love and pain… So if you see me wandering the streets past the witching hour take pity on a poor soul and point me in the right direction.
